Odd Fact #1: We named our company get what you pay for photography.

Many people ask us how in the heck we picked such an odd name for our photography company. We actually came by the name quite honestly. As we started to get more serious about our photography hobby, friends and family would ask us to take photos of their life events. We are always willing and eager to practice what we love. But the pressure to capture someone’s event can be daunting, and so while we always jumped at the chance, we warned that, "You get what you pay for!" And the name stuck…

Odd Fact #2: We let people decide what to pay us.

In our quest for world domination, we wanted to create an army of happy photography clients, and what better way to do that than allowing people to set their own value on our work and pay what they truly think their photos are worth?

No unhappy clients = very happy photographers = world domination. FABULOUS!

Now, we don’t want people to confuse karma pricing with us working for free. We work hard. We do good work. We deserve to be compensated for our work. It would be easy enough for us to slap a $3,000 price tag on our full day wedding services but what fun would that be?!

Odd Fact #3: Our love of photography is not the only thing that makes us perfectly qualified to capture your special memories.

Collectively, we have:

  • organized our own 3 weddings
  • been happily married for a grand total of 25 years
  • endured 46 months (and counting) of pregnancy
  • survived birthing 4 (soon to be 6) babies
  • changed over 15,000 (and counting) diapers
  • played 43,343 games of peek-a-boo.

Phew. Trust us. We know families. We know weddings. We know babies and bellies.
